Regular vs deep cleaning
If we say “deep cleaning”, here’s exactly what that means.
We measure every gum pocket and read the numbers out loud. You decide when — never in the middle of a visit you didn’t plan for.

Questions people ask
What’s the difference between a regular and a deep cleaning?
A regular cleaning works above the gum line. A deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) cleans below it when gum pockets are 4 mm or deeper. We measure, show you the numbers and give you the price before doing it.
How often do kids need cleanings?
Every six months from about age three. Under three, a quick check and fluoride varnish at the same visits as yours.
Do I need X-rays every visit?
No. Bitewings about once a year, a panoramic every few years, more only if something needs a closer look.
